Tonight, we are celebrating Liam's 3rd birthday at Chuckee Cheese. Ya know, where a kid can be a kid...or an adult can be a kid lol. Liam has been looking forward to this for like 3 months now haha. Almost everyday he'd say, "Are we going to C.C. today?" , lol so adorable. I only hope we are not involved in any fist fights that may happen!!! There has been like 20 fights at C.C. here in the last 2 months maybe? I don't understand what all these mothers are fighting over. We were always taught to share and be nice....in any event...

We didn't really get him toys or anything, mostly because we got him a shit load for X-mas, and I'm pretty sure he hasn't even gotten to all of them yet lol! I did pick him up a little sabre tooth tiger lookin' thing yesterday at the store, so I guess that counts as a B-day toy :) His grandmother is making him a Spiderman cake, he is going to love that!! I never met anyone so infatuated with Spiderman AND Sponge Bob lol, seems like an odd connection.....Wait, he's 3 it makes perfect sense!

Today is also VD....(I made a post about this lat year lol, I won't get into it again LMAO!!!) We don't really have anything planned other than Liams B-day, but I think we are both ok with that. Maybe tomorrow we can go and get a nice lunch or something :) I guess it doesn't hurt to say it though, so Happy Valentines Day Amber, I love you with all of my heart and soul, and I am very thankful that you are part of my life! :)

We're all moved in! At least all that's left to do is put shit away and get it organized. It's been tough not seeing you much this past week, but now, our new life begins :) It is so nice to finally wake up beside you every day now. I love being here with the kids when you're at work. Although I am tired in the evenings, spending time with the kids is a lot of fun...even when they are bad lol. I only wish we worked the same schedule so we could spend more time with them together. I think we should pick a weekend for you to request off work, and we should take the kids somewhere....well somewhere cheap that is lol. Maybe even to my mom's or something, that way she has a chance to meet them :)

I'm looking forward to putting Sam's room together when the time comes. I think it will be a lot of fun setting everything up and such. Maybe instead of a crib, we could let baby Sam sleep in the drums LOL! Just kidding baby :) I can't wait for the arrival of our little Sammy. I tried to explain to my niece that she was going to have a new little cousin, but she just wanted to throw the ball! HAHAHA!

I think maybe this summer, we should have a little cookout thing or something, and invite some of my family and some of your family, that way they can meet each other as well. I guess that's not a huge deal or anything, I just think it might be kinda cool :) I hope Ayla and Kori can stop over sometime soon to see the new place and such. Maybe we could set up a game night or something, and play that card game you all like to play...I forget what it's called...you know, the one I'm not very good at lol.

In any event, we have made it to the first of many stepping stones of our lives. Given the cicumstances, I think we pulled it off pretty well. I'm proud of us baby, we did good. It will only go up from here. We can start saving money, and before you know it, we'll have enough for a house :) It will probably be time for another new car by that point as well lol. Who knows maybe I'll drive the Saturn for another 10 years!....God I hope not lol.

It is 6:40pm, and you have been at work for an hour and a half now. I already miss you :( Today went by WAY too fast. I'm sure I'll be alseep when you get home, so don't forget to give me a goodnight kiss when you get in :)

So we made it to 2009! The world's still spinnin, and the sun is still shining...no really, it's freakin' bright out!!! We have a busy year ahead of us baby, but I know we'll be fine :) 2009 might be a bit of a challenge for us, but we are already on the right track, and we got the ball in motion. We just gotta take things one step at a time, the way we have been. We almost have enough to get our apt. together, so the biggest challenge there is, FINDING THE RIGHT PLACE LOL!!! I know we have been working hard to clear our debt, and I think we are doing a pretty good job with that, considering all the money we spent on christmas, saving for our place, ect. You're laying beside me sleeping right now, and you look so cozy! I might have to jump back in bed with you after I'm done here :)

I can't wait to take this year on with you and the kids. Although somethings may be challenging, I think they will be even more exciting! I'm so excited for spring and summer to get here, cause I wanna take the kids on little trips! We should definetly try to hit up Gettysburg, and Baltimore this year! Maybe even take a little beach trip before Sam gets here :) We'll have to get Eric and Elaine in on that!

So many exciting things to look forward to :) However, I wanna start 2009 off by being lazy with you for the next 4 days! I know you have to work this weekend, but when your not working, I think we should just be LAZY! What better way to kick off the new year than relaxing, watch some movies, grub on some food, maybe play a little Nintendo DS :) I want one of those now LOL! Oh, and I wanna start reading my Dennis Leary book too, and work on some songs....but I can do that stuff when you're at stupid work :( It would really be great if they could just give you at least ONE weekend off....stupid Blockbuster! You know I'll be here waiting for you when you're done though :)

I'll just wrap this up by saying, thank you Amber, for loving me for the better part of 08. Thank you in advance for loving me throughout 2009 :) You are the most amazing person I've met, you are not only the love of my life, but my best friend. I look forward to the upcoming adventures of '09 , and most importantly, I look forward to being by your side through every one of those adventures. I love you Amber, Happy New Year!

I finished writing "Nightengale" tonight after work. I started it about a week or so ago, and have been "secretly" writing it for Amber as an early Christmas Present. Obviously I got to record it, as you have heard if you're reading this lol, again not over pleased with quaility, but it is what it is. The meaning is whats important. I hope everyone that heard it, enjoyed it, but most importantly, Amber, I hope you enjoy it more than everyone. I hope you know how much I love you  and how much you mean to me. I hope I can write you 1,000 songs in our lifetime :) I hope that this song, "Nightengale" will always be special to you. As the first song I ever wrote for you, I felt it to be appropriate to title it after you :)

I'm missing you a lot tonight baby :( I hate when I only get to see you for a minute ater work. The possitive part though, is obviously, that I finished your song :) I think about you every second we are apart. It seems as if time is going in super slow motion this week. I guess that's because we know we are going to spend all next week together, just me and you with no interruptions. Oh, we will be snuggling!!!!! We are gonna go to  the store, and get lots of breakfast items, and I shall make us breakfast every day next week! :) I definetly think we should get a bunch of movies too!!!
